Darap  Village

The word Darap has its origin from the limboo (Tribal) word " Tanlop" which literally means a plain or even land, which is situated at an elevation of 5,790ft. The village, which is highly dominated by the limboo (tribal communities), it occupies a place of pride in one of the richest limboo culture heritage of Sikkim and it is a land of exquisite beauty and place of natural sightseeing especially for the zealous wanderlusts.
